The novel was described by judges as ‘delightful, unexpected and full of weird imagination’ – packed with beguiling fantasy elements, energy and creativity, The Firefly Cage is a hugely worth winner. Congratulations Nicki: we can’t wait to publish your brilliant novel next year!
