We are super proud and pleased to announce some very exciting news – the wonderful Cornelia Funke is back with a sequel to the bestselling fantasy novel Dragon Rider! 

Featuring a stunning cover look from Laura Ellen Anderson, Dragon Rider: The Griffin's Feather will be published in July and reunites Firedrake the dragon with his best friends Ben, Guinevere, Sorrel and Twigleg in an all-new adventure. A brand new edition of Dragon Rider will publish simultaneously (pre-order here!) with a third story in the series to follow.

You'll know Cornelia from bestselling novels such as the Inkheart series and The Thief Lord, which have topped charts all over the world and spawned two major movies. We're very excited to be joining Firedrake for his next adventure!

Anthea Bell returns as Cornelia’s best known translator in a deal done through Jenny Savill at Andrew Nurnberg Associates and Oliver Latsch.
